Thank you for your interest in the Maple Ridge Christian School community.

Maple Ridge Christian School has a distinctive role to educate and equip young people to engage God's world through biblical thought and action. MRCS recognizes how essential a partnership with believing parents is in all aspects of schooling. We value healthy relationships in our school community, teaching from a biblical worldview, and the uniqueness of each student.

We are first and foremost a community of families, teachers, students and staff. All parents are encouraged to be active partners with the school in the education of their children. This partnership provides a secure and safe place for young people to grow when a consistent faith base and biblical values are held by the home and the school.

The school seeks to cultivate a community that reflects the ethnic, denominational, and socioeconomic diversity of the local Christian community. At present we have over 45 different churches represented in our school.

TUITION – Discounts and Tax Deductions
For 2012/2013 – Enjoy your first year of schooling at MRCS is 50% off. We are offering this because we so strongly believe in the quality and effectiveness of the Christian Education we offer that we are willing to spend a year making sure you can believe in it as well. (NOTE: This discount does not apply to Preschool or International Students)

Maple Ridge Christian School offers a significant discount for families with more than one child to make it easier for siblings to attend the same school. If you are hoping to enrol more than one child at MRCS, let us know and we will send you a breakdown of costs for your family.

A portion of tuition is also tax deductible. Revenue Canada has given us a specific formula for this calculation which differs from family to family changes based on the number of children enrolled. We will be more than happy to give you details on this as we move through the application process.
MRCS offers a Tuition Assistance program to a limited number of qualifying families who are not able to afford the full amount. There is an application process for this program – please ask us for more information.

NEXT STEPS

We would love you to become part of our Community at MRCS. We look forward to guiding you through the process. The process is broken down into a series of ease to follow steps:

1. Fill out a Preliminary Enquiry form
   1. From this form you will be sent a password so you can access our full online downloadable application forms and resources.
2. Receive a phone call from our Recruitment Coordinator
   1. To answer preliminary questions about the school or application process
   2. To book a time for you to come as a family to see the school and meet teachers
   3. To make sure you have everything you need (printed forms, etc.)
3. Fill out and send in your application packet
4. MRCS Recruitment Team will review your application
5. Book an interview with our principal: Mrs. Valarie Sawka
6. Join the MRCS Community.
